The Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable seeks to employ an Event Duty Manager. This role, formerly known as the FOH Manager, is a key element of the team at both theatres, as the role involves ensuring a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our audiences to enjoy the shows and events presented.
The Event Duty Manager leads the team of ushers on duty for shows, allocating tasks to the team and ensuring that audiences are seated promptly and in a timely manner. The safety of patrons in the building is paramount and the role also involves leading the team to ensure the safety of audiences. Some light administrative duties will also be part of the role.
Full training will be provided, and experience in the role is not necessary. However, it would suit anyone who has experience in the hospitality and/or retail sectors. It would also suit a person who has other part time commitments but who is seeking additional or complementary work. An interest in any of the arts disciplines is particularly welcome.
This is a part-time role, with hours varying from week to week depending on the needs of the programme and your own availability. A rota is created monthly based on events across both theatres. Shifts will primarily be in the evenings, on weekdays and weekends, and occasionally during the day.
We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and encourage individuals from diverse communities to apply.
Interested candidates should forward a letter/video* of application and CV to recruitment@limetreetheatre.ie.
*If you would prefer not to write a letter of application, we will also accept a max. 1 minute video introduction, which should feature your explanation as to why you would like to take on this role, and why you are suited to it.
