Barnstorm Theatre Company is a leading Irish theatre company based in Kilkenny, dedicated to creating and producing high-quality theatre experiences with, by and for children, young people, and family audiences. Established in 1991, Barnstorm has built a strong reputation for innovative, accessible work that nurtures creativity, engagement and connection through theatre and drama.
Our annual programme of activities includes TYA productions and the development of new work, potential touring and a vibrant Youth Theatre as well as collaborative projects with other organisations, companies and stakeholders.
Role Overview
The Producer will play a key role in delivering Barnstorm’s Artistic Vision and Strategic Goals. Working closely with the Artistic Director, the Producer will oversee the planning, budgeting, and delivery of the company’s full programme of activities throughout the year inclusive of productions, development of new work and projects.
As a senior member of the team, this role requires a skilled organiser and creative collaborator with strong producing experience, financial acumen, and a passion for theatre that engages and inspires audiences.
