Location: Dublin 1
Contract: Full-time, Wednesday to Sunday (including weekends) on a rostered basis
Salary: From €37,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Retail Duty Manager to join Theatre of Light primarily working at Dream Point Experience.
This dual role will primarily focus on driving the retail and operations, including merchandise management, product
development, ordering, reporting and setting sales targets while also undertaking rostered Front of House Duty Management shifts to ensure the smooth running of the visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations
ï‚· Oversee day-to-day retail operations, including the management of merchandise, stock
control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
ï‚· Lead on product development, ensuring a diverse, creative, and profitable retail offering
aligned with the brand.
 Support the café team in achieving high standards of service and operational efficiency.
 Monitor sales performance, produce regular retail and café reports, and track key
performance indicators (KPIs).
ï‚· Set and manage sales targets, motivating the team to achieve and exceed goals.
 Ensure all retail and café operations comply with health, safety, and food hygiene
regulations.
Front of House Duty Management
ï‚· Act as Duty Manager on a rostered basis, overseeing the visitor journey and ensuring a
seamless experience for all guests.
ï‚· Lead and support the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service and
efficient crowd management.
ï‚· Handle visitor queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused
manner.
ï‚· Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of daily
shows and events.
ï‚· Uphold health and safety procedures, emergency protocols, and incident reporting.
Skills & Experience
ï‚· Proven experience in retail management, ideally within visitor attractions or arts/entertainment environments.
ï‚· Strong knowledge of stock sourcing, management, sales reporting, and supplier liaison.
ï‚· Experience in setting and delivering sales targets and driving commercial performance.
ï‚· Previous duty management/front of house experience desirable but not essential.
ï‚· Excellent leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
ï‚· Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
ï‚· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, visitor-focused environment with varied responsibilities.
