West Cork Music promotes and runs the West Cork Chamber Music Festival in Bantry. The Festival runs for 10 days with up to 12 events taking place each day, from 26 June – 5 July 2026.
West Cork Music is inviting applications for the post of Festival Intern. The successful candidate will gain experience of the exhilarating but demanding world of festival production and the opportunity to meet and work with top chamber musicians. Working alongside the professional festival team is a unique experience providing an invaluable opportunity for the right candidate. Candidates should have a background in classical music.
This paid internship will last approximately six weeks, commencing 25 May and concluding not before 6 July. Applicants must be willing to locate to Bantry for the duration of the internship. Accommodation will be provided by West Cork Music.
