This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the role and duties of not-for-profit board members/directors, and governance best practice. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussion, this course empowers you to understand your responsibilities as a board member.

the roles and responsibilities of charity trustees/board directors under Company Law and Charity Law;
board meetings;
board papers;
reviewing the board;
board relationships;
conflicts of interest;
governance and management;
and the Charities Governance Code.
