Safe to Create is delighted to unveil the Autumn/Winter 2025 Training Programme for Ireland’s arts and creative community. This season brings a blend of online and in-person workshops, designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive at work.
A warm thank you to the 203 participants in our recent Training Survey — your insights directly shaped this programme and are already guiding plans into 2026.
The Autumn/Winter line-up continues our focus on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Safe Practice, Workplace Skills, and Governance & Leadership. Over the coming months, we’ll deliver 15 in-person workshops across 8 towns and cities nationwide, alongside 6 online sessions — each tailored to help strengthen workplace culture and foster safe, respectful environments in the arts.
Our flagship Active Bystander Training has been running since early 2023, reaching 652 people across Ireland to date. We’re proud to keep offering this vital workshop free to all working in the arts and creative sectors.
From September, we’ll also introduce three new pilot workshops:
Managing the Complaints Process
Addressing Bias
HR for Freelancers / Small Organisations
All workshops are subsidised and either free or low-cost.
We also provide:
Travel/accommodation bursaries (for Ireland-based participants travelling from outside the host city)
Access cost support to ensure everyone can fully participate
To support fair access and minimise last-minute cancellations, free in-person workshops now require a refundable €10 deposit, returned in full upon attendance.
