FESTIVAL MAKERS CONFERENCE FLUX: Resilient Together is taking place in Sligo on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd May followed by FESTIVAL MAKERS CONNECT on Saturday 23rd May.
This may be of interest to festivals in your area or for those making festivals in your arts centre or in conjunction with your venue.
In addition to the Mark Newell Memorial keynote address from Shona McCarthy, the first female Chairperson of the International Fund for Ireland, the two-day Festival Makers Conference programme features workshops on for festivals wanting to develop audiences and business planning. There is also a range of panels and discussions which will support your festival practice.
The conference only takes place every two years and this year we also welcome festival makers from Northern Ireland in an all-island gathering.
As a result, we have increased our ticket capacity to support festival organisations that wish to send more than one representative.
