Dublin Theatre Festival is looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help out at this year’s festival, running from 25 September to 12 October 2025. If you’re passionate about the arts and eager to get involved in a busy and exciting festival, this could be the role for you!
Each year, Dublin Theatre Festival recruits a team of volunteers who generously give their time, energy and expertise to the festival. Roles vary and include ushering, front of house, stewarding, assisting with the box office and events, and conducting market research.
By volunteering with Dublin Theatre Festival, you could:
- Develop new or existing skills
- Gain experience in hospitality, box office, front of house, marketing and production
- See what’s involved in organising the festival
- Meet new people
- Be a part of a large-scale theatre festival
- Get to see selected shows in the programme
- Have a lot of fun!
- So, if you are over 18 years of age, have conversational English, are comfortable on your feet and are interested in getting involved, please complete the volunteer application form.
Volunteers with Irish Sign Language (ISL) skills are encouraged to apply, as some productions are looking for front-of-house support to assist ISL audience members during the festival.
