The 20th Dublin Book Festival (5 – 9 November) relies on the dedication and generosity of volunteers supporting our events.
The festival has now entered its gilded age celebrating its 20th edition and we are excited to be back in venues all around Dublin City, including a Festival Hub in the stunning IMMA Venues at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham!
We are opening our doors once again to welcome volunteers, book enthusiasts and festival-goers back for a winters delight in the literary and publishing world. Take a leaf out of our book and help celebrate the written, spoken, journeyed and drawn word around the city.
We are grateful for the vital support of our many volunteers, without whom the festival would not happen. From ambassadors at our launches and panel discussions to stewarding at our walking tours about the city; from the welcome desk to the creative corner, our volunteers are the spine that holds this festival book together.
We are looking for: a diverse group of individuals to take on the role of Festival Ambassador at our venues about the city – from The National Library of Ireland to The Royal Library at RDS Ballsbridge, from the dlr Lexicon to Rascals Brewery Inchicore there is a hidden gem of the written word to be discovered.
